Starting from a central location of your choice at 6pm, your private party will be picked up in Amsterdam and driven to Zaandam where your dinner cruise begins. Sip a glass of bubbly before boarding your open-topped boat and floating through the locks along the Zaan river. Get a unique taste of Dutch country life as you stop for three courses, at three different restaurants, in three different villages. Pass by dozens of windmills along the route from Zaanse Schans back to Zaandam as your skipper and guide spins tall tales of life on the river. After four hours of eating, drinking, and relaxing on your private boat, you will be returned to your original departure point in Amsterdam at 10pm.

This was my birthday surprise and it did not disappoint. We met Bart our Captain in Zaandam. he has a lovely boat, with a comfortable cushioned area and a supply of soft drinks/wines and nibbles. We proceeded through the Lock along the river and he explained the industrial and other types of architecture around us. We moored at the restaurant and our chosen starter was brought to the boat which we ate whilst sailing. We then sailed to Zaanse Schaans where he gave a lot of information about the different types of windmills and the area in general. We then sailed back to the restaurant where we ate our main course - the food was delicious and the location quite lovely. When we were finished we got back into the boat and there were some more drinks and sweet treats for us. The half top had come up on the boat as the evening was becoming quite cool and we saw the sunset and just enjoyed the sailing experience. Eventually we arrived back in Zaandam - the lock by this time was closed so we left the boat and had a short walk through the town to another restaurant where we ate our dessert and had a pleasant time talking to Bart. All in all I would thoroughly recommended this experience and would happily do it again or introduce my friends to this company. All in all a very pleasurable experience
