Bangkok: Grand Pearl Dinner Cruise including Transfers

The outcome did not match my expectation neither did it match the description of the tour. Food was average and not memorable. I sat outside, so could not see musicians, hence it felt as if I was listening to music on the radio. No one narrated any of the sites we passed.so pretty pictures with no idea of the importance or name of a building. Best thing about the experience, once I got on the boat on the opened river, the evening was calm, peaceful , helping to soothe my jetlag.

Very nice tour, lots of photo opportunities. Nice music and show, too. It would be a good idea if the guide or someone from the tour could stay with the tourists and give info about the buildings, bridges and everything else you get to see.

Food was average, not hot and nothing stood out as great. The trip lasted only 2-1/2 hours from pick up. Really didn't think this tour was worth the money. Sorry Viator, all my other tours have been good.

Attended the Pearl Cruise last evening 5/11 and must say it is what it is and probably as a tourist something to check off the bucket list. Nothing very exceptional but entertaining but not a romantic cruise or something to celebrate with a special someone. Pros and Cons Pros Pickup transportation at hotel prompt and courteous. Nice to sit on dock and have a pre-dinner drink before cruise seated on outside on bow of ship on a very unusual temperate BK evening with candle light Quick boarding look at cons attentive service Cons: After being seated, we immediately directed to buffet table and boat had not left dock.....finished dinner before we even started the cruise Typical buffet style dinner. No high expectations and certainly not surprised. Good variety but expect a buffet. Entertainers did their best and nothing but respect for their efforts but please was hoping for a thai experience and not lounge performers in a 2nd rate casino in Las Vegas. margarita ordered came in a martini class and considering BK and prices was expensive.....not a tour to have a drinks on if that is of inrterest as mentioned the boat did not depart the dock until most everybody had passed through the buffet line which may be understandable but the cruise consisted of down river 1 hour and return with no narrative of what we were seeing. i was with thai friend so did appreciate some of the views Summary A tourist thing to do. Paid 120USD for 2 and certainly money better spent elsewhere but again it is a something i can say we did and will not do again. And no knock against Grand Pearl, they delivered what they promised as I am confident the same experience is probably the same on all the bigger boats.
