Getting up early for a sunrise flight guarantees breathtaking views; it's the best time for flying as the cool and serene ambiance adds to this balloon adventure! Your balloon takes off close by to Montseny Natural Park, roughly 25 miles (40 km) north of Barcelona and is the nearest take-off site from the city.

After pickup from the Hard Rock Cafe in Barcelona, travel by minivan for approximately half an hour, and then watch as your hot-air balloon is inflated at the launch field. Then, you're up, up and away! While floating through the air, enjoy panoramic views of the Pyrenees, Mediterranean Sea, Montserrat, the massifs of Montseny and, sometimes, even Barcelona itself. On landing, enjoy a Champagne toast and brunch as you are presented with your flight certificate.

Select the 2-hour flight and spend longer in the air, feeling the air move you around. The itinerary is not set, so where you fly is dependent on weather conditions on the day; it’s a great option for adventurous souls who want to simply enjoy the wild freedom of being up in the air at an altitude of more than 7,500 feet (2,285 meters). Enjoy a snack and a glass of cava during your flight and admire beautiful views of deep and wild Catalonian landscape. At the end of your tour, enjoy a typical Catalonian Brunch in a local restaurant.

Upgrade to a private/exclusive balloon flight for an experience of a lifetime, and enjoy an intimate hot-air balloon flight over Catalonia. Why share with strangers? This private balloon ride is for just your party and your pilot, so relax as you enjoy the tranquility of gently floating up to 3,000 feet (900 meters) above Catalonia. The experience was amazing. We went as a family with our 9yrs old and we love it. The balloon team is very professional and experts in flying balloons. The views and the experience is a most do!

This experience was so wonderful we would highly recommend it. It was easy to meet the group, and they transported us to a cafe where we could grab breakfast / use restrooms. Then it was to the field for hot air ballooning. The guides were so friendly, willing to take photos, and spoke great English. The flight was approximately 1-1.5 hours and you get gorgeous views and get quite high. I'd recommend this for couples, and family with older kids - very little ones probably won';t dig the heights. The post picnic was also very nice and accommodating - they will have gluten free options if you request.

I absolutely loved this hot air balloon ride, it was a great experience. Only drawback is having to help put the balloon back into the bag (after the ride). Having to wake up so early and after a long day, you just want to eat and go back to your hotel.

The area the balloon flies over is quite small and all farmland - we landed in a field by a sheep farm, with a shepherd tending a paddock filled with mamma sheep and lambs. The Pyrenees were so far away, the ballon does not fly close to them. The lunch was a cheese sandwich and glass of cava. This is very expensive for the the scope of the experience.

Awesome experience. I highly recommend. The staff was friendly and the ride was peaceful. Dress warm, it's much cooler there than in the city. Keep in mind your lunch is right where you land, sandwiches heated on the balloon fire.

What an amazing experience. A must do if you're going to Barca. The hosts are amazing as well and make the entire experience a blast.
