Lisätietoja aktiviteetista
Start your experience with a pickup at your centrally located Budapest hotel, and drive to the Etyek-Buda wine region, about 30 minutes away. Admire the vine-coated hills as you approach the town of Etyek, the hub of this relatively young wine industry that started when German settlers planted vines here around 200 years ago.
Hear about Etyek’s famous fresh and crisp white wines, typically grown from pinot gris and sauvignon blanc grapes, and its celebrated sparkling Törley wine. Then, visit Old Wine Hill where nearly 1,000 mostly disused wine cellars sprinkle the slopes. Enjoy the views over the vineyards, public grape presses and villages below as your guide explains more about the local soils and acidities.
Visit small, family-run wineries and sample four wines in each, along with tasty Hungarian snacks. In the morning tour you will get to see two wineries and in the longer afternoon tour you will visit 3 wineries. As you sip, learn local winemaking secrets from your friendly host — usually the winery owner and winemaker rolled into one. Discuss each wine with the host and get a truly personal take on each variety you’re tasting. You’ll leave with a really intimate understanding of the traditions, peoples and countryside that make the wines here so special.
Afterward, enjoy a delicious 2-course dinner at a wine estate. If it’s summer, dine outside, or if it's winter, sit down at a table inside a cellar. Savor the classic Hungarian dishes and discuss your wine discoveries as you eat, perhaps enjoying some wine (own expense) with your food. See the Itinerary for a sample menu.
Lastly, drive back to Budapest where a hotel drop-off marks the end of your tour.

We had so much fun with Esther our guide. We experienced her sister and brother in laws winery first. Everything we tasted was delicious. Then to a 2nd winery where we had a fabulous lunch and more great wine.
Our guide Susan was a gem sharing some Hungarian history, the wineries were fantastic and beautiful! Highly recommend this excellent tour!!
Great afternoon out. Plenty of wine and lovely meal at the end. Guides and hosts were really good. Some passengers were late, delaying us by half an hour in a very hot bus!
So much fun! We went to three different wineries and the wine was delicious. The views of the country side were amazing. We had dinner at the last winery and loved it. I highly recommend this tour!
Great visit to 3 wineries with dinner and dessert included at the last stop. Excellent wines. We met many different people and a great time was had by all. Our guide Guliana was funny and personable. She took pictures and emailed them to us already. Highly Recommend!
Fantastic day out, beautiful locations and friendly, formative talks about everything to do with wine.
Absolutely amazing trip. Our guide Denis was fantastic and offered entertaining insights into Hungarian history and wine along the way to the to the cellars. He's passion for wine shone through particularly when visiting his father's cellar. Even if you are travelling solo join this tour because once the wine starts flowing, everyone becomes friends. There will be absolutely no regrets booking this.
Three interesting and different wineries. Great whites and reds and a dinner with goulash at the last winery. Wish we could have carried home some samples!
Highly recommend tour. Our guide, Michael, was very personable and fun. We visited three wineries, met with local winemakers, learned about their processes and dreams, and finished our tour with a lovely traditional dish. Michael was kind enough to allow us time for photos by the sunflower fields. It was a great experience!
