See the city through a local’s eyes and point of view. Discover and learn about Hungarian culture, sights and customs. The tour allows you to meet your private guide at your hotel/accommodation. Here the guide will begin an introduction of the city before heading out to check out the general sights.

Optional itinerary suggestion:
- Heroes’ Square with introduction to the rich Hungarian history and culture through the chronological line of kings
- City Park with Vajdahunyad Castle, peek into Széchenyi bath house
- Millenium Metro back to Pest downtown
- St Stephen Basilica
- Danube Promenade, Chain Bridge
- Inner Central Pest – Opera, Andrassy, Deák Sq, Elizabeth Sq
- A coffee and traditional Hungarian pastry break is included
- Buda Castle District – Royal Palace, Fisherman’s Bastion, Matthias Church

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Hungary - which was exactly what we were looking for. He was very personable and made the whole tour very enjoyable. Our group was only 4 people so everyone had a chance to engage and ask lots of questions. I would certainly do this again. Also, the pastries were great!

This was a highlight of our trip to Budapest! Our guide, Balint, was very knowledgeable and easy to get to know. Not only did we see all the main attractions, he spent time answering our questions about the current culture. If you only have one day for touring, this is the tour for you. Since it is private, you can cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time. We used public transportation and Balint gave us a quick tutorial so we were well prepared to go it alone when the tour was complete. Wonderful day.

Our tour guide was a very enjoyable and knowledgeable companion. The tour was well paced and the guide went out of his way to make sure we were able to have a wide variety of experiences. We had a really great time and we loved Budapest.
