Sitting atop a small hill, the Bratislava Castle offers a great overview of the Old Town. You can stroll through the outside gardens and enjoy the scenery for free, but it costs 10 Eur to get in the castle itself.

Stop At: UFO Observation Deck, Most SNP, Bratislava 851 01 Slovakia

Across the Danube, on the margin opposite to the Bratislava Castle, lies the iconic UFO-shaped observation deck. The UFO tower allows you to see up to 100 km on clear days. Climbing to the 95-meter-tall tower will cost you 7,40 Eur.

Stop At: Bratislava Old Town, Bratislava Slovakia

This former government building now houses the oldest museum in Slovakia. The Bratislava City Museum is a must-visit for those fascinated about the city's history. After you have seen every exhibit, do not forget to climb up to the top of the 45-meter-high tower for a beautiful view of the Old Town. The entrance to the museum will cost you 5 Eur.

This trip was well paced, interesting and informative. George,our driver, was a safe driver who gave us information while we were on the road and allowed ample time for us to enjoy the two stops we made. He obviously loved his home city Prague. He gave us ideas of things to do and where to eat. The tour of Bratislava was truely delightful.

This scenic transfer from the dock of our river cruise in Budapest to Bratislava then to Prague was so much better than dealing with the inconvenience of an airport. We saw the lovely countries of Slovakia and the Czech Republic instead of just flying over them. Our driver was accommodating and prompt. Our guide was so informative and had us wishing we could spend more time in her lovely city. We will definitely use a scenic transfer in the future.
