This was outstanding... spectacular actually and a must see. It was a long day but the drive is beautiful through national parks and beautiful countryside. The guide spent the time telling you all about the history and culture and it was the highlight of my time in Thailand. You can't go to Chaing Mai and miss Chiang Rai....... simply breathtaking. Having a personal guide is completely awesome and you feel pampered.

This is a very great excursion to spend the day seeing many wonderful things. Our tour guide, Ken, was great and very helpful. If there was one thing I would change about this excursion is perhaps there is just too much planned in the amount of time provided. Trying to see so many sights with the amount of travel time between each site, and along with certain closing times, you could not help but to feel a bit rushed. During our trip instead of feeling rushed, we decided to skip the Black House to allow us to see other temples/sites with more time for picture taking and taking in the beautiful scenery.
