Marvel at the entrance to the fictional Hogwarts, invisible to the Muggle world, and wander the inspirational winding streets of Old Town Edinburgh to the spot where JK Rowling wrote the books. Arriving at Castlehill, you'll wander through Edinburgh to see the burial ground of 'he who must not be named.' Then visit the original Diagon Alley and the buildings that inspired Hogwarts itself. See all the dark corners and sunlit streets that inspired JK Rowling to create the magical world of Harry Potter. See the historic Royal Mile, the beautiful Edinburgh Castle, and the bustling shopping districts of Princes Street and Edinburgh Waverley. Your guide will be happy to provide recommendations for exploring the city further, with lots of great tips and tricks. Tour ends in Old Town's Royal Mile.

Our guide Monique was darling and had quite a bit of information about JK Rowling. But besides seeing Tom Riddle's grave (which was cool), IMO there wasn't really that much to see.

This tour was horrible, I would give it a zero if possible because almost 0 content was related to Harry Potter. I left before it was over. Guide seemed to know almost nothing about Harry Potter. Felt terrible for the kids on the walk. There was nothing magical about this. Skip at all costs.

We did this tour on our first day in Edinburgh and it was a great way to get acclimated to the lay-out of the city. We were introduced to places that we would have had a hard time finding on our own and it was an enjoyable experience!
