Ho Chi Minh (formerly Saigon) is a fast paced city with a unique mix of French colonial architecture, Chinese influences, a modern entrepreneurial spirit and numerous temples. On this tour, you will take in the highlights of Ho Chi Minh starting with an exploration of Saigon's turbulent past with visits to the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum.

The tour continues to Ho Chi Minh's finest examples of French colonial architecture with a visit to the Notre Dame cathedral and Post Office. Enjoy lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant. Your Ho Chi Minh tour continues with a visit to Giac Lam Pagoda, the Cholon Chinese district. Tour concludes at the Ben Thanh market, practice your bargaining skills.

Important note for cruise passengers disembarking at Phu My Port - Phu My Port is located in Vung Tau City, a two-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City. This tour will revert to a half-day tour of Ho Chi Minh City, with pick-up and drop-off from Phu My Port. Please select this option at time of booking. Your half-day tour will include visits to the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office. Lunch will not be included.

It is well worth booking this tour as you get to understand far more about Vietnam, the people the culture and the long history of war. It would be quite easy to visit all the sites yourself but what we learned about the Reunification Palace cannot be read in a guide book. The pick up was on time the service exemplary and the lunch that is included is really good. The guide Tai was great and his English good. I would have no hesitation in using Buffalo Tours again
