This tour ends at the boat pier. Participants will receive a JR train ticket for travel from Saga-Arashiyama to Kyoto.
If the boat cannot be boarded due to high water levels, etc., the meal will be served at a restaurant instead. In this case JPY 2,000 per person will be refunded.
Yakatabune boat cruise fare of JPY 1,000 must be paid at the location for each 4 to 5 year old child (meal not included)

This was one of my favorite tours in Japan. I love the smaller group setting, walking in the beauty of the outdoors, and topped off with a lunch on a traditional Japanese row bow!

Really disappointing Aviator! The whole tour is a fraud for the money you are charging! Anyone can access the places we visited for less than half the price you are charging this so called 'tour'!!... and lunch in the little boat at the river is nothing but the scenery... the food was average almost bad if compared with the many options one has to eat in the area... Where is the value for money??? Honestly, is like a prank!

We booked this easy DIY half day trip was, to try to have a more informative guide.Unfortunately, our guide didn't prepare his job well. Even there were signs in Japanese, he couldn't explain more.. His English was intermittent . The lunch on the boat was serene though. Can take train yourself

Really enjoyed this tour... 8.25 pick up. On the train with guide then great walk through bamboo and gardens and then best of all the lunch on the boat. the lady playing the pipe on the hill side made it a truly magical experience. Would recommend planning to stay in the area for the afternoon.
