Our tea ceremony workshop is 3000 yen per person. If you would like to rent our kimono to experience the workshop wearing the kimono, simply add 1500 yen. Our workshop capacity is 6 people, but we can also arrange for a larger group. Contact us for more details.

The workshop is offered in the following order:

1. A lecture about "Chado - The Way of Tea" by our tea master

2. Experience the tea ceremony (including tasting tea and sweets)

3. Try making a green tea

The workshop last about 45 minutes.

Our place is 300 years old samurai residence, and you can also enjoy taking photos. You can also enjoy our cafe if you would like to spend more time at our place.

Once in a lifetime experience. Perfect combination of the heart and the mind by our two hostesses. From making us wear the Kimono to explaining the meaning and the essence behind the tea ceremony, every moment was perfect. Full marks to their enthusiasm and the courtesy extended. They were so patient. Ended with a 3 minute Japanese dance. On my request she taught my wife a few steps of the Japanese dance. Highly recommended.
