Discover Fado at its most traditional on a tour of typical places where musicians and "Fadistas" have earned their living for decades and continue to do so today. A Fadista will accompany the tour and will sing in alleys, squares, and local taverns which have played an instrumental part of Fado’s history.
At the end enjoy a caldo verde (traditional Portuguese soup), barbecued chouriço (spicy sausage) accompanied with bread and wine in one of Alfama’s traditional Fado house’s. Areas that will be visited include Mouraria and Alfama.
