QUICK VERTICAL ATTRACTION - VIA FERRATA MOJSTRANA

You can choose from two different via ferratas in Mojstrana and they have a common and very short access to the wall and entrance to the climbing routes. Only 5 minutes and very good view of both routes can be had from our Kofler Sports agency. situated in very near of Slovene alpine museum and to Vrata valley.

The first via ferrata name is Aljaževa pot and is the easier one: grade B, 180 m high and 250m long. It is suitable for those who are still new in the rock world but would like to try the wind in their hair.

The second via ferrata name Pot Mojstranskih veveric is more difficult: grade C/D, 180m high and 250m long. It is suitable for those who already have some experiences of climbing in the secured wired routes. This via ferrata in Mojstrana requires skill and physical strength.

Both ferratas brings us at the top of Grančišče hill from where you can see our Julian Alps and Karawanks and small Aljažev tower is waiting you for photos.Path down goes on a marked route almost to our starting point at the Kofler Sport agency.

For ferratas we recommend basic mountaineering equipment – helmet, belt, self belaying system that is included when you go with professional mountain guide from our agency and sport clothes hiking boots small backpack with water.
