Itinerary

Start your small-group tour with a pickup from your central Ljubljana hotel, and depart for Brežice, a small town where your visit starts.

Brežice is a nice town with rich historical heritage and besides a beautiful town centre it is marked by a large castle with its beginnings from the 12th century, home of the regional museum and the beautifully painted Knight's hall.

After Brežice we continue the tour to explore the wine region of Bizeljsko and to discover repnice cellars, a peculiarity of Bizeljsko region, once used to store turnips and now more commonly for wine storage. We stop in the cellars to taste some of the best and most famous Slovenian wines and after the wine tasting we continue towards Olimje, renowned for its peacefulness and one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe, today still a part of a functioning monastery housed in a Renaisannce castle.

After wine tasting, return to your minivan and end your tour in Ljubljana, with a drop-off at your hotel.
