San Diego day tour from Los Angeles
The first stop on this day tour from Los Angeles is La Jolla Cove along the shore, considered the "new Beverly Hills” with amazing views of the California coast. You’ll then continue south to San Diego, the second largest city in the state. Upon arrival, you'll visit the seaport village then board the USS Midway, an aircraft carrier turned museum. Explore more than 60 exhibits with a collection of 25 restored aircrafts.
After the tour of the sea, continue to Coronado Island to see the Hotel del Coronado, a historic hotel and the largest building in the U.S. built entirely of wood. In fact, it is the favored hotel of many heads of state, US Presidents and movie stars! Before heading back to Los Angeles, you'll stop by the Old Town, the first Spanish village founded in 1769 where you can see the original settlement.
