Semi Private Hiking The Mountains Of La Pedriza

It will take us a little under an hour drive northwards from Madrid until we reach the town of Manzanares el Real, at the foot of the amazing granite mountain range of La Pedriza. Before our hike, we will have an invigorating breakfast of local fare and a coffee, and check out the outsides of the picturesque medieval castle “Castillo de los Mendoza”. During the next three and a half hours we will cover quite some ground hiking through the natural park of La Pedriza. We will enjoy the beautiful scenery along the trails, breathe the fresh air, try to spot local flora and fauna, and explore this amazingly rugged landscape. After our hike, we will indulge in an abundant and tasty country-style Spanish lunch at a traditional restaurant before heading back to Madrid. For outdoor lovers, this region is well worth the time.
