Excellence half day trip very well run. Great content and paced. Make sure you are there early to leave on time
Both the Spanish-speaking guide and the guide for English were very good, knowledgeable, and considerate. I hurt my foot a few days before our tour, and they made special allowances for my problem. Would've liked more time at the cathedral, in the room with all the portraits. Could've skipped the "tour" of the damascene and knife production. Half day tour may have been enough.
Learning about the conflict between the 3 different religions that have clashed in that region was phenomenal. The architecture and how it was recycled was enlightening. Furthermore, our guide, Jorge, was informative and charismatic.
This was very interesting tour. It was made even better having a guide who was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. Toledo is a beautiful city. I am glad we went. The only possible negative is the strain of this tour. There is a good bit of climbing. Europe needs to develop a rating system for the degree of physical difficulty. Not just this tour, but all over Europe. My wife and I are in our 70's. We walk 3.3 miles per day and this tour wore us out.
Toledo is really well taken care of and beautifully preserved. We took the half day tour which was very efficiently organized to get the most out of the time allotted and the tour guide was an expert and balanced her time well with Spanish and English speakers.A Toledo visit should be on everyone's list!
My wife and I enjoyed the tour. Jorge, our tour guide, was very informative and made the tour interesting and insightful.
The tour was nice . I wish Viator can improve the quality of these tours . Typically these tours are in two languages . The guide speaks in Spanish and then English (or vice versa) . Overall, it was good experience !
This is a great choice to see the highlights of Toledo. We traveled in a comfortable coach from Madrid. Our guide was excellent and took time to clearly explain each historical site and to take questions. Excellent tour. We highly recommend.
The guide was knowledgeable and provided the right information about Toledo's as well as Spain's history so you would not get bored with too much detail. We enjoyed it a lot.
This tour was great and we have the opportunity to enjoy the best of Toledo as much as a half day possibly can allow. Manolo, our guy, was very professional with a great knowledge of the city surroundings and history. He also went the extra mile to our your a great experience.
Wow, I would give this tour 6 stars if I could! First off, the company was very organize and we left on time. Our tour guide, Elisa, was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She was extremely knowledgable, friendly, approachable, and organized you could tell that this was her profession, and she enjoys it! She speaks at the perfect pace for everyone to understand, and her English is fluent and understandable despite her accent. She doesn't walk to fast, and always looks back to make sure everyone is there. Elisa took us to 5 monuments, all of which are religious first was a church, then the cathedral 2nd largest in Spain, then we saw the most famous El Greco painting, next was a mosque and finally a monastery. The cathedral was HUGE, and the monastery was beautiful. Elisa enhanced this experience by explaining so many beautiful details of these places. After, we went to eat at a beautiful scenic restaurant a little up in the mountains, and then Elisa took us to a factory where they explained some sort of metalwork this factory was attached to a gift shop which was nice. We had ample time to explore everything. Elisa kept us exactly on schedule, and nothing felt rushed. Toledo itself is very much a small town. No fast food, only traditional restaurants. Make sure you buy some marzipan, because that is one of the things they are famous for! The town is beautiful and has so much history! Toledo is a must-see if you are visiting Madrid! I can't express enough how great Elisa was. I would definitely take any tour that she did.
very nice!
We did the half-day tour and it was an incredible experience. Our guide Jorge was very knoweledgeable and polite. Thanks to this tour we visited the most important monuments of Toledo with an amazing guide! Don't miss it if visiting Madrid!
Morning tour of Madrid was on a bus entirely. You couldn't see anything and it was a bilingual tour so half spanish, half english, made it difficult to tune in and out to what guide was saying. We left the tour early it was awful. Afternoon in Toledo could have been interesting but our same guide from the Madrid AM tour was less than enthusiastic, she couldn't wait for the day to end, that was obvious.
