A typical tour starts with a pickup from either a home or hotel at 10.00am. The time can be altered to suit the groups schedule.

Then travel to the requested wine region by luxury car. Popular choices include the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Bellarine Peninsula, Heathcote, and Macedon. Your tour guide will be able to recommend wineries that suit your taste.

You can visit as many wineries or attractions within the region as time permits. Usually about five wineries are visited but you are free to linger at any stop for as long you want. Other activities can be included, such as visits to a brewery, cidery, distillery, dairy, chocolaterie, wildlife spotting or other sightseeing. Seeing kangaroos in the wild is commonly requested by international visitors and your expert guide rarely fail to find some.

Lunch is included, as is all tasting fees.

You'll be dropped back at your hotel or residence at 5pm. Alternative drop of locations are OK.

We took this tour right after Christmas, a busy summer season in Australia. Our driver picked us up at our hotel and took us to 3 different types of wineries. First was a major, very touristy one. At the second winery, he selected wine paired with cheese appetizers for us. The third was a small winery where the owner made the wine and the pizza for lunch! We are not connoisseurs, but wanted to see the Australian Wine Country since we are from the Finger Lakes of central NY where there are over 150 wineries. The private, made-for-us tour was exactly what we wanted - beautiful scenery, the driver was very professional and good company, and we learned a lot about wines in Australia, suitable to our personal taste.
