3 Days Private Aurangabad Package with Ajanta and Ellora Caves

Day 1: Arrival Aurangabad

The tour starts with a pick up from the Aurangabad airport/Hotel/Railway Station and you will be transferred to the respected hotel. Once you check-in rest for some time and freshen up. You proceed to explore the marvelous historical attractions of the city, including Bibi ka Maqbara & Daulatbad Fort.

Bibi ka Maqbara was built by Aurangzeb’s son, Prince Azam Shah and has a similar architecture as Taj Mahal. The only difference is that he built it in the memory of his mother Rabia Durani. Enclosed with beautiful surroundings the structure will impress you with its architecture charm.

The Daulatbad Fort which was built in the 12th century is located amidst greenery. Situated in the hilltop it gives you the entire view of the city. The structure is impressively designed and leaves you mesmerized. At the end of the day we drop you back to the hotel for overnight stay.

 Day 2: Aurangabad – Ajanta- Aurangabad (95 Kms. / approx. 2 Hrs. One way) (B)

 On day 2 after breakfast at the hotel, our driver will take you to your next destination. Ajanta Caves a famous tourist spot has a set of 29 Buddhist caves. Preserved in the hills, shaped as a horseshoe across Wangorah River it gives you an enchanting feel to look at the structure. The caves display some of the precious Buddhist works in the form of carvings and paintings. A rock-cut temple, Ajanta caves houses some of the best Indian masterpieces that are worth exploring. This Heritage Site is well designed with the huge pillars, Stupas & ceilings. The paintings & sculptures show the sign of Buddhist philosophy. After the heritage tour in Ajanta cave, driver will take you back at the hotel for overnight stay.

 Day 3: Aurangabad – Ellora (35 Kms. /approx. 1 Hrs. one way)| Aurangabad Departure (B)

 Next morning on day 3 after the breakfast at the hotel it is time to check out. Before you say goodbye to the city our representative along with chauffeur will take you to the Ellora Caves, another heritage site, which is worth watching. It is one of the largest rock-cut monastery temple cave that has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Some of the famous monuments that it feature are of Jainism, Buddhism & Hinduism sects. The Kailasha Temple, which is the artwork of monolithic single rock excavation is a splendid structure. Once the sightseeing is done we drop you at the Aurangabad airport to board the flight.

 *Ajanta caves closed on every Monday and Ellora Caves closed on every Tuesday. If you are doing this tour on Monday or Tuesday then we reschedule the visit according to days open.
