Private Dharavi Slum Half-Day Tour

Your guide will pick you up at 10am (or your requested time) from the lobby of your hotel in Mumbai. You will be transferred to the Dharavi Slums in a private air conditioned car.

At the entrance of the slums, you will start your walking tour for approximately 1.5 - 2 hours, depending on your preference.

Home to nearly one million residents, Dharavi is alive with small scale industries and community activity. Meet the people of Dharavi, see their homes, their workplaces and their strong human spirit which triumphs inspite of adversity all around. With local students from the slums as your guides, you will take away the most realistic experience and break down the negative preconceived ideas people have about slums. You will be pleasantly surprised to see how cheerful and enterprising the people of Dharavi are!

After the walking tour, you will stop to enjoy some refreshments at a local coffee shop before your guide and driver drops you off at your hotel.
