08:10am Meeting in front of Karstadt departement store opposite of the Central Main Station in Munich

08:30am Bus departs from Munich. Guide will explain all sights on your way

app. 10:30am Arrival at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg. Explanations trough the guide and photos at the tribune.

app. 10:50am Drive on to the historic city center of Nuremberg.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Altstadt, 90491 Nuremberg, Bavaria Germany

app. 11:15am Guided walkabout tour through the old city and the castle.

app. 12:30pm Time for your own disposal for souvenirs and lunch (app. 1 hour).

app. 02:00pm Departure for palace of justice

Stop At: Memorium Nuremberg Trials, Bärenschanzstraße 72, 90429 Nürnberg, Germany

app. 02:30pm Arrival at palace of justice. Stop for 1 hour. Every visitor can get an audioguide in its native language for the exhibition "Memorium Nuremberg Trials" in the Palace of Justice (extra costs), the original scene of the war crimes trials, provides a comprehensive insight into the era of German post-war history.

app. 03:45pm Departure to Munich

app. 06:30pm Arrival at Munich.

It was a long but nice day as we took a bus to Nuremberg, walked around the old city (short guided tour to get our bearings and recommendations given, then time on our own exploring), followed by a trip to Palace of Justice to the place where the war crimes against Nazis were held (top floor is an exhibit, the actual courtroom wasn't available that day due to a court case, which they said was common on Thursdays) and then we drove to where Hitler held his Nazi rallies in Zeppelin park.

Good host and guide. The walking tour was a little much so would recommend telling the tour goers where you will meet if you don't want to take the hike up the hill. Glad we did it, but did need to rest up after.

This was a great tour - a long day but worth it. Our guide Franziska was very informative. We visited the place where Hitler rallied his faithful followers and then on to the Documentation Centre which was very interesting, but there was not really enough time to see it all. The bus then took us to the Nuremburgs Old town where we stopped for a quick bite then went on a big walking tour right round the town, seeing some amazing old architecture, bridges and finally up the hill to Nuremberg Castle for an amazing view of the town below. I really enjoyed this tour, the only negative being we did not get any free time for a bit of shopping/exploring.
