Excellent service, customized and perfect for the traveler who wants to know and discover the wonders of Porto and the Douro river. Your tour begins with hotel pickup between 8:30am and 9:00am, returning at 7:00pm. Transportation by a luxury vehicle guarantees comfort and safety. Advertised as a small group tour of up to eight, finding that we were only four plus our guide Tanya was the first pleasant surprise. The Douro wine area is an enjoyable day trip from Porto and value for money with the tastings and lunch all inclusive. The river and steep hills are a spectacular backdrop for the excellent wines of the region. Our guide was attentive, knowledgeable and good fun too! It all made for a great excursion to this beautiful region.

Our tour guide Miguel was excellent. He is passionate about his country and he was very well informed and shared his knowledge. The group is small just 6 people and we received personalised attention. The area is magnificent and each of the stops, Sandeman, for Port ,the lunch and the wine and Olive oil tasting were well presented. The additional boat trip on the river was also very good. I felt it was exactly what I was looking for in a personalised small group giving a really good experience of the Douro. The food at lunch was a real highlight and the views from the top of the hills just amazing.
