Vimotions offers you the chance to enjoy an incredible trekking tour through the best landscapes of Tenerife.

The pick-up for this excursion takes place at 08:00 in the southern Tenerife, at 08:30 in the Puerto de la Cruz area and at 09:00 in the Santa Cruz area. Once you and all the other participants are on the minivan (or bus, depending on how many of you there are), you will go to the starting location, which is the Cemetery of Chamorga.

This route lasts 3 hours with a descent of approximately 800 meters. It has a medium-high difficulty because, although it does not have dangerous steps, the descent is continuous. This tour begins in the laurel forest and, as you descend, you will visit Las Casillas, an old semi-abandoned farmhouse, where you will make a short stop while contemplating the Igueste valley. From there, you will continue your way down the ravine and come across different layers of vegetation. You will be explained the socioeconomic history of the Anaga region, as well as some points about the gorge you will pass through and where the name Antequera comes from. Antequera is undoubtedly a natural and secret paradise in the innermost reaches of Tenerife. Discover its magnificent beach with this fantastic tour.

Anaga Experience makes this thematic guided tour and delights you with the Lucas Gamonal's coisine (food included), while he tells the history of the region from the Guanches' times to ours, and informs about the nature and geology of the surroundings. Once in Antequera, the excursion gives way to a relaxing after-lunch time at the beach and then you will return to Santa Cruz by boat, admiring the cliffs of Faro de Igueste and Zapata.
