Stop At: Dorasan Station, 307, Huimang-ro, Jangdan-myeon, Paju, Gyeonggi-do 10800 South Korea
Dorasan Station is the northernmost station of the South Korea which is 700m distant from the southern boundary line of DMZ, the civil control zone. Since US president Bush visited Dorasan Station on February 20, 2002, it has come into spotlight internationally. imjingak Station was opened in October 2001, and then Dorasan Station, the unfinished station of the north-south Korean reconciliation was opened on February 12, 2002 (the lunar New Year’s Day) through the special Mangbae train operation in 52 years after the railroad service was stopped. The milestones of Dorasan Station (205km to Pyeongyang, 56km to Seoul) imply the reality of the division between two Koreans and a future hope and expectation. Because Dorasan Station is the northernmost station of the South Korea in the southern boundary line, Dorasan Station will play the role of customs and entry for Chinese and Russian people and goods as well as the North Koreans if Gyeongui Line Railroad connection is completed and the traffic is possible between two Koreans. Also, Dorasan Station contains the historical meaning as a symbolic place of the division between two Koreans and a gateway of the south-north exchange.

Tour guide was knowledgeable. She shared lots of her experiences and stories related to the North and South Korea. Time allocated at each location was just nice. It was quite emotional to see the families in north and south being separated. The tunnel was quite a leg workout.
Our tour guide, Sharon, was wonderful. We learned a lot about the history and enjoyed the stops during the tour.
The tour guide was great. Gave us a lot of detailed information on Korean history. Learned a lot on this tour.
Seriously face paced. They say bathrooms everywhere, food to snack, special souvenirs only available here..... but not enough time for any of this.. I booked this “no shopping/no ginseng factory hard sell” so that I could maximize my time back in Seoul. The price is the same so they make more money in a shorter period of time off you...... so they really should afford you at least 10 more minutes at the tunnel and observatory. Ten more minutes would have gotten 5 stars here.
Tour started with hotel pick up by sedan, to gathering point for bus departure, Erica was the guide and great is sharing the history, very passionate as well. Sufficient time for adults travellers, might be tight with young ones. Overall a nice trip and good to see the various sites.
Very good tour. It is a little rushed, so it may not work for older people who cannot walk fast. But it covered the important places and got us back in Seoul on time. Our guide, So Young, was great - had a nice sense of humor!
Alice was incredible! She was very informative. I highly recommend this tour. It’s the perfect amount of time.
This trip started out by excellent communication before the trip via email and WhatsApp. They set up a time to meet us at the hotel, and they showed up promptly. We were taken to our tour bus where we greeted by our tour guide, Emily, to begin our trip. We were asked for our passports, but I didn’t remember seeing anything in the communication. No problem, though. Emily vouched for us and others. Pro tip: bring your passport that day. Emily was super friendly and very knowledgeable about each of the four stops with all the history that each holds. No shopping unless you wanted to buy stuff at the 3rd Tunnel gift shop. I’d recommend the chocolate covered soybeans. Afterwards, we had a choice of one of three stops downtown. Overall, well worth it!
The tour was really fast. If you don't like spending much time in each place it is really good. Our tour guide Amy was funny and fantastic. The tunnel is a climb up! So warning.
My daughter and I took the half day morning DMZ tour. It was very interesting and our guide Nancy was very knowledgeable. She is excellent in timing and make sure the bus leaves on time after each stop. We learned a lot on this tour.
