Meet up in your centrally located hotel lobby at 11:00am, and take a comfortable ride to famous Tongli Water Town (about one hour and 15 minutes). On the road, you will be able to see China's countryside scenery and your guide will share with you about the culture of Southern Yangtze River regions.
Upon arrival Tongli, enjoy your lunch at a cozy local restaurant. Then, spend your afternoon to browse around the old ally ways and visit the exquisite Retreat & Reflection Garden (Suzhou style garden). Take a wooden boat ride to enjoy the tranquility of the village, and your guide will share with you some interesting stories about this area.
Continue your tour to Xitang Water Town around 5:00pm where you will find cobbled streets, old buildings, bridges arching over canals and the rowing boats lingering on the river under beautiful sunset. The movie "Mission impossible 3" was filmed here in 2005, and you will follow Tom Cruise' steps to walk through some alleyways and a 1300 meters roofed corridor here.
When night falls, the entire water town is with lights on. Continue your tour to the popular West Street where you can browse around in some unique boutiques and handicrafts shops.
You will be delighted by the stunning night view and the tasty local delicacies, such as dumplings, wonton soup and some drinks in a local family bar
End of the enriching tour around 8:00pm and you will be transferred back to Shanghai about 9:30pm.

Miki Wei once again was our tour guide. I cannot recommend Miki highly enough. My wife, Wang Zhi Hui, agrees with me. We have taken many tours over the 8 years we've been married, but Miki and her firm Miki Tours are by far the most memorable and professional.
