Have you ever heard about the four “King Kong” of Shanghai? This is the collective name given to the four most popular street snacks: fried dough sticks, pancakes, rice rolls, and soybean milk.
One of the best ways to learn about the local culture of a city is to taste real local food. During this half day amazing tour, you’ll be guided to the most typical areas of Shanghai in order to taste the real local food of the city.
Meet your guide in hotel lobby to start your tour. You can choose to take the tour in the morning or in the afternoon depending on your schedule. Morning tour starts at 09:00am and afternoon tour starts at 01:00pm.
Your guide will take you to the restaurants and walk your way through different snacks. After this your tour ends and your guide will help to get a taxi to find your way back.

Excellent insider tour. Guide was waiting for us right at the metro exit where he was supposed to, even though we arrived a little bit early. He took us around and talked to us about history as well as current events - he was very informative and spoke English very well. We visited two different areas with a metro ride in between. One was a quiet residential area and the other was a loud fun street. At the last visit we ended up spending over our previously paid/budgeted amount, but that may have been a miscommunication. Highly recommend this unique experience.
