Four of us signed up for both bus tours plus the harbor cruise. We took the longer tour first, which was great, followed by the 1-hour tour. But it turned out to be almost a repeat of the first tour, minus Stanley Park (outstanding park!) And we missed the harbor cruise because we didn't realize that it was in the middle of the longer bus tour.... we should have been told that before we got there! We thought it left from Canada Place. But our guide was very good, much better than the pre-recorded tours! So I recommend taking the longer bus tour, getting off for the harbor cruise, and then getting back on. Also the stop at the island is quite interesting, but not super-great. Interesting city!
I’ve been on Hop On Hop Off buses in many cities and would recommend it to everyone. It’s a GREAT way to see the city sights at your leisure.
The bus driver was very informative and made it very interesting. He made the trip so worth it. There's a lot of traffic in Vancouver so I'm really glad that I did not have to drive.
Well priced and thorough. We did the entire loop and then visited areas that were highlights for us afterwards. Very comfortable clean bus with knowledgeable and courteous bus. We always do a hop on hop off bus tour when visiting a new city. aviator has never disappointed in this type of tour or others we have tried. Excellent company!!
We lost considerable time because we did not learn the tour starting point had changed to a location with little/no conveniences. The busses were too infrequent, which was areal problem considering some were full.
The Green (Park) route gives you a perfect insight into the geography of Vancouver and Stanley Park. It takes about 90 minutes (without stops) and enables you to revisit parts you are interested in later.
Easy access from anywhere downtown. Drivers were very informative, helpful and entertaining. Also the audio for each stop was great.
The most terrible thing was the very loooong wait at each stop. It took us an average of 1.15 to 1.30 hrs. To wait for the bus. Too long to wait!
exactly what you expect on a hop-on-hop-off tour
My wife and I really enjoyed the Hop on Hop off at Vancouver. All of drivers had a great knowledge of the city. There were plenty of trolleys and a very short wait for the next ride. Vancouver is a beautiful city but make sure when you visit the city go to Stanley Park.
A great way to see the highlights of the city. We did the one day park route which included the top sights. A definite must when seeing a city for the first time. The buses came often. Rarely did we have to wait for one.
We were in Vancouver for a day before out cruise departed. We had thoroughly enjoyable day on the park route tour. Would highly recommend.
